Todd Twine construction was hired to work on my new kitchen. He nevered showed up the first few days just one guy showed up to completely gut my kitchen.
The third day this helper asked me for money, when I finally was able to get in touch with Todd Twine he came over and a fight ensued between the two in my home. Yelling, swearing, and threats to bodily harm.
After that Todd Twine brought people that he hired off the street to my home, every night he left my home a complete mess, never cleaning up after himself.
I was having Travertine put down and Todd Twine swore that he had done it before and knew what he was doing. He did not.
My floor is completely ruined and I have no way to fix it since he also put it under my new cabinets. I am constantly filling holes where he did not prep the tiles properly before laying them. The floor is uneven in a multitude of areas and basically looks like it's been down for 50 years.
Todd was late on every part of the job and I had to keep moving delivery dates out due to his inability to complete tasks on time. He also brought his young daughter to the job site with him and let her roam about my home as if it were hers.
Todd Twine complained about his other customers constantly stating they were all trying to rip him off and didn't want to pay him, I now understand their feelings.
We had everything for the kitchen redo purchased, however, we still had to go to local stores with Todd Twine because his credit card would be declined for items that he needed to complete the jobs, which we had already paid for per the contract.
Todd Twine consistently asked to be paid in advance so that he could pay his worker.
At the end of the job I just couldn't wait for him to be out of my home. He ended up having to call another contractor to come in and help him so that he could make up time and expected me to pay for that over and above the contracted price for the job and when I refused he got very threatening.
Since he left, I had to hire two other contractors to either try to fix his work or complete items that were not done, such as hooking power up to my light. These other contractors were absolutely astonished as the shawdy and negligent work performed in my home.
I had to hire another electrician for a different job and when he went into my attic he could not believe the dangerous mess that Todd Twine had left. No junction boxes and leaving wires lying about. One of the wires had actually burned through so it was lucky for my family that we never used the heater that was to for it would have caused a fire.
Still to this day he haunts us not only when I see my floor falling apart but if he drives by us on the street, he sticks his middle finger up at us. Do yourself a favor and do not under any circumstances do business with Todd Twine Construction.
