Chris & Walt came to my house because I needed someone to relevel my doublewide mobile home. They had a great sales pitch & a state license (which probably wasn't legit). They said they needed half down & half on completion.
We paid them half in cash (which they split in front of us). Chris called the next morning to say their truck was brokedown & that they would be out as soon as they got it fixed.
The next morning I called Chris to see what they were up to. I ask if they got the truck fixed, he mumbled yes it was fixed & that he would be out in a couple of hours. I called the office in a couple of hours to see if Chris was on the way. He answered the phone & said he had sales calls to make & that he would be out around 5pm to do the job. I asked if he planned on working in the dark? He said he could do the job before it got dark.
No one ever showed up.By this time I had found several compaints against these guys on the internet & decided I wanted nothing to do with them. I confronted Paul (2142323004) about these complaints and that I didn't feel comfortable dealing with them. He hung up on me.
I am on a fixed income & money is hard to come by. I can not justify paying people that are not reliable & do NOT want to ad insult to injury. These people have NO problem taking my money for doing nothing. I can NOT afford to pay for this twice BUT I see NO other choice.
It is dealing with scam artists or getting a reputible company to do the work. I have found people that I trust to do the work BUT it will take a couple of months to get the money together.
If anyone from any of the many companies contact you, do NOT trust them!
You WILL regret ever having anything to do with these 'travelers'! They move frequently, use cell phones, have NO addresses.
Do NOT make the same MISTAKE I made! Double check ANYBODY you do business with! I WILL keep you updated...
