Here I was placing and order with a reputable company whom I have placed a few orders before. When one thinks of 1-[800 Flowers] they appear to be legitimate.
So my last order back in June was a Teddy Bear sent to my son and my daughter-in-law to congratulate them on their expected new arrival of a baby boy in September, my first grandchild.
Upon the completion of the web order form at 1-800 Flowers.com there was a box to check if you were interested in a rebate. The economy the way it is, I thought that it was just a marketing device to entice further business, so I checked off that box on the web form.
All of a sudden I see charge of $38.99 appear on my online banking statement. Not being one to take things for granted I started to investigate.
My research lead me to complaint and come to find out this company TLG LiveWell has a license to steal from consumers via some type of arrangement with 1-800 Flowers.
They, TLGLiveWell actually are given access to our Credit card number and charge us for no tangible goods or services. How can this be?
Thanks to RipOff report I have a number to call to retrieve my money.
I also will contact the Attorney Generals Office here in Ct. And make a formal complaint.
I am also sorry to say that I will be conversing with 1-800 Flowers about this matter and a once satisfied customer will never return to their business or website again.
