Ripoff customer by re-testing your receive

I have been with Dishnet work for 3 years.

1. I got numerous marketing calls from them after my first contract expired. They are trying to convince me to change to my spouse's account such that it would be a new account. They promised I would save money. However, it turned out NOT! Ever since that, whenever I got calls from DISHNETWORK, I hung up. I googled and found that FTC has been suing dishnetwork violating do not call rules! Looks like they don't care, and I still get marketing phone calls from them all the time!

2.in my first contract time with Dishnet work, they have always been charging me the program access fee ($5.00 per receiver) for not connecting the phone line. But I don't have a landline but only the voice over IP. This does not work with dishnetwork. I have to bite the bullet for that charge. I have confronted their customer support a lot of times and their so called supervisors why they charge me something I don't use? They never gave me a good answer. I googled online and found that lots and lots of customers have also been treated in the same fashion.

3. Recently I got something which is REALLY outstanding. They shut down my package service without notifying me by a written document. They claimed that they called me several time but cannot got hold of me. They want to test if my service works well. However, it did work well before they turned it off. The customer support was extremely rude and said I have to go through some testing and I have to follow them exactly. I found this online which best describe my situation:

"If you have multiple receivers on your account, Dish Network may call you and demand that you turn on each of your receivers and read a certain code that they send. From what I have read in another forum, this is kind of like getting a call from the Gestapo - they don't allow you to put them on hold or have any side conversations, and tough luck for you if someone answers the phone who is not capable of carrying out their instructions immediately and explicitly. I don't know if that policy has been modified in the past few months but I know it upset several of their users on the one DN forum I was reading a while back. Of course, if you never answer their call then they can't make you do anything (so you might want to think carefully about what number you give them, if you have more than one)."

Actually they have a better way now if you try to ignore them. They just shut you down without written notice. I think they violate the contract as in California without written documentation, verbal notice (I think including failed attempts) does not have legal binding.
After I failed the test as I am not "strictly following their instructions". They accused me that 1. I mute my phone which I did not 2. I had side conversation when I tried to find my remote control. Therefore, the receiver is unusable and I have to pay a separate account in order to get that box back. This is like robbing people daylight on the street. I have been spending a couple of hours arguing with them over the phone and am out raged!!
