Downloaded a free trail of the mapquest navigator for blackberry handset. The download did not function at all and I switched handsets. The new handset did not support the application therefore I set out to cancel the subscription, no luck. The site has instructions to leave an email at the address noted here and they will respond within 48 hours. I have been trying to cancel this service via this method with NO response of any kind from the service provider.
I have contacted my cell phone provider, mapquest on 3 separate occassions, and Telmap with no success. I was never able to use the application but am paying 9.99 a month for nothing. I have read on forums where others have had the same problem canceling the subscription. As a last resort I will contact my bank and cancel the credit card I supplied, seems it will be the only way to get any action.
Think twice about purchasing from companies who have no telephone contact to cancel subscriptions, they can simply say they never recieved an email and continue to rob you blind.
