CIC Credit Monitor SVC
Unauthorized billing

I was charged $79.95 by CIC. When I called to ask about the charge I was told that it was made by my father (who is NOT authorized by my credit card company to use my card). Since I didn't make the charge they refused to refund the money.

I then called my father, who had no idea what this company was and had never charged anything to them (he doesn't have any credit cards to monitor). He called to cancel and was told that the money would be credited to my account.

However, there is still no credit to my account and I have been charged an additional $69.05 for God knows what. The company swears this is my refund (notice even if it is, it is $10.90 short). It's not, it is a CHARGE to my account.

I did not ask for this service. I did not sign up for a free trial. CIC's phone service speaks of protecting the consumer from fraudulent charges... Crooks who will steal from you. CIC are the exact crooks that they promise to protect you from.
