I called your1plumber to get an estimate for installing a faucet (I already had the parts). The socalled plumber who came out spent the first half hour trying to sell me water treatment chemicals. He then glanced at the faucet and told me it would cost $725 in labor to install the faucet. When I asked him how many hours he believed it would take him he informed me that "you wouldn't ask Picasso how many hours it took to paint a masterpiece". He proceeded to charge me $60 for the estimate; quite a good earner if they do this ten times a day they are grossing $600 per day without even getting their hands dirty, or needing to know any plumbing.
