Store Goeppinger's Cellular, AT&T Wireless stupid people canceled sim card while out of state, told me to bad get to a store

We were adding our daughters phone on to our account. She is getting a divorce and her husband went into the store to have this done. We could not be there in person because we are long haul truck drivers. The store called us and the arrangements were made to accomplish this. We then had to call the main AT&T office to finish the transfer. This part was actually a nightmare because of communication issues (is this another outsourced company?). I finally had to speak to a supervisor to complete the transfer. Now our daughter had to go into the store to have a new sim card placed into the phone because with the transfer the old one is cancelled.

This store had to call us because the account is in our name. We verify all of our information, the girl looks at the account to see the recent transfer and said no problem. 10 minutes later we can't use our phone.

Now I do have another phone with T-Mobile (limited minutes) and we call to find out what the hell is going on. The STUPID girl transferred our phone number and sim to our daughters phone. She gets my daughter back her number, gives us back our number but our sim card is no good. We can't use the phone.

She now tells us to go into a store to get a new one.

We explained that we are long haul truck drivers and can't just pull into a store to pick up a sim card. Her response "Why Not?". I guess she doesn't understand and tried to explain that our truck is 73 feet long and will not fit. The response was "I'm sorry, it was all my fault but it's not my problem". Now that's customer service for you.

We tried calling the main office again (hope for english speaking) and basically were told the same thing "not our problem". They wouldn't even give us credit for the time the phone is unusable.

Do they send everyone to training class: Repeat after me "NOT MY PROBLEM".

So here we are with a phone we can't use, paying a bill for the time we can't use it and won't be able to fix it until we get home again and have to go into that crappy store to try to get this fixed (2-3 weeks).

This is the only communication source we have for our job which could cause us to lose the job.

This company doesn't care about their customers, hire friends and family, and young kids to save a buck. When we finish this contract they have lost another customer. They probably won't care but if they do (like their employees say) "I't not my problem".
