I got took by applying for their $1.99 trial period cd for grant services. I didn't recieve the cd within the 7day period for starters. Soon after I found a charge on my checking account for 94.89. I called them and they said I had to know about it in order to get the trial cd. I went back to their website and put in phony info to get it to go to the page in question and sure enough there is a little box to check for "terms and conditions" (the stuff that usually just tells you they aren't giving out your info and the like)
I guess my mistake for not actually clicking on it, because that is were they tell you they are going to start charging you 94.89 per month for this supposed grant service. (Since my initial visit they have now altered the site to include a red notice which is still below where you click to accept.) I called back to cancel and was told I had to do it online. I went back to the website to find out how to do that and after hunting around a while found a spot to email them. I finally got an email saying they wouldn't be charging me anymore. Then I was notified by my bank that once again they had tried to charge my account.
I called back and was told I had never cancelled, in spite of their email response saying I had. I ended up having to close my checking account to get this stopped. Now I am supposedly eligible for a refund of my initial 94.89 that they charge, but I have to wait 88 days? I still have 21 days to go before I can even apply for a refund. I can't wait to see what run around I get next. Their site is worthless. Having paid for it, I did go look and there is not one grant that I can apply for even being a single female small business owner. The only thing that was available isn't even a grant it's a loan thru sba which I had all ready applied for and obtained thru other sources. Everyone needs to really be aware of this site. All they want is your money.
