We signed had fell for the same ripp off scam as many others reported. They came to our door April. We went from a land line phone to a internet phone and found out that we went with out service for 5 months and paid for it! How did we find out? Well, we called on a "FC" code that we have been seeing on the display panel and they indicated that it meant that there is a loss of communication. Then they proceeded to tell us that if we wanted they call install a cell tower to communicate with our internet or cell for about $300.00. Paying $300.00 was not an option for us since we couldn't afford it and there was no were in the contract that stated that option and how much. We wanted them to credit us for the loss of service for 5 month. Well, they couldn't help us with that either. Now they are threating to send us to collection for not paying the monthly service.
Bottom line is we are not paying for service we don't have and when we contacted them over the phone to cancel they said we still have to pay for following month because we need to cancel in writing! We sent them a cancellation notice in March and they called us and said we couldn't because we were in a 3yr contract agreement! Okay fine, but they also agreed to give us MONITORING SERVICE which they are not providing us!
