I am writing to report what Mr. Blau did to my mother. My mother was first defrauded by a securities broker and then to add insult to injury, was defrauded by Mr. Howard L. Blau, Esq as well.
The person who referred my mother to this crooked securities broker, also referred Mr. Blau to her as well. So, not only was my mother ripped off once, but twice... Mr. Blau, finishing her off, so to speak.
My mother retained Mr. Blau's legal services at the recommendation of her friend's accountant by the name of Paul Sadej, who also happens to be Mr. Blau's personal accountant and close friend. My mother trusted her friend's recommendation... Since Paul Sadej claimed that Mr. Blau won a case for him and did a great job, thereby, highly recommending Mr. Blau's legal services.
My mother met with Mr. Blau, explained her sad story and he assured her that he would do everything to help her get her money back. All he would need from her was a $15,000 retainer and $2,000 for filing court papers. My mother gave him that, plus all the original documents from the foul investments made by the crooked broker. But Mr. Blau did nothing to help my mother, he just took the last of her money and ran off with it.
The money my mother was trying to invest through this crooked broker was her retirement money, it was all she had. Not only did this tragedy happen, but my mother was also caring for my ailing grandmother up until her death last year. On top of all of this, my mother also has health issues, and technically shouldn't be working. But because of Mr. Blau, she no longer has that choice because he stole the last of the money she had, forcing her to take on a part time job, just so that she doesn't lose her house and can survive!
However, it gets worse, she was barely scraping by with the amount of hours they gave her... And due to our poor economy, her hours were decreased, making it impossible for my mother to afford to keep her house!
Today my mother's life could have been so different, had not the broker been so crooked and Mr. Blau actually used his intelligence for good rather than evil.
I was being kind when I mentioned I was disappointed because I'm rather infuriated! However, my point for writing my mother's story was not for the sole purpose of bashing Mr. Blau, but mostly, for others to be aware and cautious.
I actually don't like wasting my time or energy on petty people like Mr. Blau. People like Mr. Blau have absolutely no conscience and could care less what happens to others. He's a blatantly selfish person, who only cares about his own gain even at the expense of others.
But as sure as there's a God in Heaven, Mr. Blau's days are numbered. The Bible says, whatever ye shall sow, ye shall reap... It's just a matter of time, that everything he thinks he got away with, catches up with him in ways he could never think or imagine. It's the law of life. He doesn't realize there is someone much bigger than him in control.
Perhaps God will have mercy on his soul if he actually starts doing the right thing for a change? Perhaps he can actually return his clients files with their original paperwork and stop avoiding their calls or emails?
My mother has tried to call him and email him several times, but to no avail. She wants her file with the original paperwork to be returned to her so that she can continue to pursue justice.
So "Howie", if you are reading this... Why don't you do YOURSELF a favor and return what's rightfully hers? And while your at it, why don't you do the same for everyone else too!
