I found a fraudulant charge on my Quest phone bill yesterday from ESBI, a company I had never heard of. When I contacted them, they informed me that I had filled out a request on the internet for their services, which she said was protection from fraud on the telephone. What a joke, they are the fraudulant company that is listed here by many individuals as taking steps to rob us thru our telephone bills. I informed her that I had not filled out any request for their service and I refuesed to pay the amount. I was told they would not bill me any more and woulod bock my name from being used, but still would have to pay the charge for this month. Contacted Quest and they said they have "NO" control over who sends claims against my telepone bill. I also have auto pay, so could not deduct the charges. Quest is looking into it, but after reading all the complaints that have been filed on your website, I think maybe this is hapening all over the place, and the companies that send us the bills act surprised. DUH! This should not be happening without a notification from the Phone Company (Quest, Verizon, Etc.) that someone has added charges before you are billedf for them... I am calling Quest in Denver and have notified the New Mexico Better Business Bureau of this incident so others can watch for what seems to be a growing incident!!!
