After multiple conversations, this company guarenteed they would sell my timeshare in 10 months time or give my money back, which was $400.00. They even included a free three night/four day vacation voucher AND a $1000.00 voucher for groceries!!!
After I paid, I did recieve the vouchers. The vacation had numerous fees and taxes, to the point of it no longer being worth anything. The grocery voucher was coupons that I had to sign up for. The coupons cost $2.50 for every $10.00 of coupons. You were also charged $11.95 a month to be in this "club", which was never mentioned. When I realized I was being charged the $11.95, I called and cancelled.
That was when I called Vacations Direct, to complain. But there was no answer when I called, e-mailed, faxed, or sent letters. I then e-mailed the local police, city attorney and Mayor of Ormond Beach. I eventually got an e-mail back saying this address was found to only be a post office box which had been abandoned. This company is/was just a bunch of thieves!!!
