Went to 1st sercurity for job placement services. I was told to bring resume certificates and social security card and 80 for placement registration. I went to the interview and spoke with a Mr. Fernandez who proceeded to tell me about their services. He asked about were I wanted to work and what time I could work. He then explained a class that I should take so I could work in more diverse areas. I told him that I would not be able to do it right away because I was not working and that I had school. He said it didnt matter. So I agreed. I then went home and did some research on them and discovered that they had mutiple complaints on them. I went back and asked for a refund a was told I wasnt going to get it back and if I really wanted it i could take them to court. Mr. Fernandez and the superiorvisor Mr. Williams both told me the same thing about go to court. I was never told that the 80 was going toward a class and they tried to say that I didnt read the contract because it says that for classes there is a 100 non refundable fee. I didnt go there with the intention of taking a class just for the job placement. I feel that this company needs to be shut down for lying to people who are looking for jobs and taking the money of people looking for help. The people are very disrespectful and speak to you as if you are a complete idiot.
