A former manager that worked for our company had apparently spoken with a representative of National Advertising Center, unbeknown to other members of our management staff.
I have since spoken with a rep of NAC asking to see the contract, if any, that may have been signed by our former employee; along with some evidence of work on advertising they may have done for our business. The representative has not been able to produce ANY contract or proof that they have done any advertising on our behalf. Further, they withdrew money from our account, without consent, without a signature, or any proper authorization. We have placed a stop payment on any further transactions from NAC.
After several attempts to get a copy of a contract or advertising, now they are threatening to sue.
This sounds like nothing short fraud!!!
