I was surprised to find I had been charged an additional $16.00 on my phone bill by this Operator Assistance Network. I called the phone company (Embarq) and they were able to remove the charges as well as put a block on my account so no other "Miscellaneous Charges" can be placed on my phone bill.
When I tried to call the company (1-800-713-9078) there was no answer. The phone didn't even ring. I called my phone company customer service and they tried to connect me at a different number (1-800-760-5685). Again, the phone never rang and appeared to go dead. I never reached the company.
This is definitely a "rip-off" and a stop should be put to it immediately.
