On my Embarq phone bill this month (6) I saw additional charges of $ 13.66 from a company called ESBI for voice mail service's. I went to my local Embarq store to dispute these unauthorized charge's but the Embarq employee's couldn't care less. I contacted ESBI at the phone number on my phone bill (1 888 300 3724) and spoke with one of their employees who tried to tell me that I ordered this service which was false. I was also told that they would refund me $ 25.90 in charge's and was given a cancellation number. Hmm I never ordered this service so why would you call it a cancellation.
I also emailed Embarq who said they would remove the $ 13.66 from my current bill and return it to ESBI but would not actually credit my bill until they heard from ESBI and they also put a third party block on my phone number which I thought was done month's ago.
Still waiting for my money and I now that I see that I am not the only victim I will fill a report with the Fla State Attorney General's office. I also found it odd that this company ESBI not only had my phone number but had my email address which they claim they got from Embarq..
