Defective compressor on a fridigaire refridgerator - WARRANTY SCAM AVOID
Defective compressor - frigidaire refridgertor - I have a parts replacement authorization from Elaxtrolux to cover the part. I am responsible for paying labor.
I called Apple - told them about the credit provided to cover the most expensive part on the unit.
Apple was recommended by frigidaire so I called them.
Since they could not make any money on the part - they told me that their "closed unit repair man (singular) was sick and had been sick for 2 months..."
I questioned them that it must be hard to make money as a major appliance repair comany - recommended by a major appliance vendor, without qualified techs to repair units - expecially the most profitable - (compressors)...
If you have a credit from a vendor - think hard before you call Apple - as they are only interested in making a killing off the parts markup. If they cannot make money off parts - they tell you the guy who does that is sick...
They are liars - so watch out. That's all... Thank you.
