Enhanced Services Billing - ESBI
Continued ESBI Unauthorized Charges After 08/01 U.S. District Court decision

After viewing a local TV news program that reported on services being charged on telephone bills that were not contracted or asked for, I decided to check my phone bills. To my surprise I found that I have been charged a $13.21 amount for some coded service. After calling Verizon I was informed that the code VOICEMAILSVCW ID PRO was for a voice mail service that I was totally unaware of and had never ordered.

This company called ESBI has been charging me through Verizon for this service for well over year. After calling them, I found out they had never before been in contact with me but had received my information from a third party called AISLENO7.com. I've never heard of them either. On my February 1st bill they did issue a credit for $39.63.in the same month of February 1st I was yet again charged $13.21 for this service I never ordered and never wanted in spite of a confirmation number of 4279782 where I told them not to charge another penny to my phone bill.

So far from December 1 until March 01 I have been charged $211.36 and credited with $39.63. This means I have been overcharged on my phone bill by $171.73

From the initial TV news program and the continuation to bill me for these services is the same as ESBI putting their hands in my pocket and stealing my money. As a senior citizen who runs out of food every month for the last 3 to 4 days of the month, I see where if this money was never erroneously charged I could have been eating each day.

After posting here I will:

1. Follow through with the suggestion from the FBI (Webscam Division) to file
a police report with my local police department.

2. Call my local congressmen to alert them to this scam.

3. Call the local TV news department who first alerted me.

4. Order my phone company to block any and all request for 3rd party
payments.

5. Post alert flyers on all local bulletin boards in my local community.

*Outside of this someone could start a petition to have Judge Ricardo M. Urbina of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia to entertain the continued abuses against his written decision in Case Number 1:01CV01660, where it was found in that ESBI violated the FTC Act and was permanently prohibited from continuing ant such practices.
