I went to this store yesterday to send a package of magazines to someone in the Illinois prison systems. I purchased the envelope that they said I needed to mail them and also filled out all the forms. When I got my confirmation via e mail about my shipment it was ALLLLLL wrong... They did not get the first name the last name or the inmate number correct... That is ALL the identifieing information that is needed in order for this to be delivered. I immediately called the mail room at the prison and they found it in unidentified packages. I was able to describe it and whom it was from so they accepted the information I gave them as to whom it was meant for. When I called the store I was told "it got delivered, we did our job" I certainly do not think that a store which is in a local community which all they do is shipping and cannot get it right is entitled to be paid for the service that they provided since they got it alllll wrong... They did not enter any of the information correctly. They told me to come back and they would give me a discount next time. I cannot imagine ever trusting them with anything I needed shipped in the future and told them so. Their response to me was too bad, that is all they were willing to do. I was being screamed and yelled at by the employee and the owner. I cannot understand how a store so small servicing a community where the demographics are not too large as far as their customre base would not take the time to satisfy a locals complaints and do more than I am sorry we messed up. I would NEVER go back there and I think anyone else in the area should do the same... Drive to Ups or... Use the good ol' US Postal service!
