Ripoff dishonest about service provided

On 3/23/07 i went to this UPS location to have my package shipped internatonally. Customer service rep, Sandra informed me that the total cost to mail my package with insurance through UPS was $103.00.
11 days later, the United States Postal Service returned my package to my door because it did not have the necessary papers needed to ship it.

It was when i recieved my returned packaged that i learnt that it was not shipped through UPS. Rather UPS mailed my package through the local post office for half the price that i paid.

I went to the UPS store to ask for my refund back because i no longer wish to mail the product. The owner refused to refund my money back. He stated that he would not give me my refund because USPS will not refund him his money.

I went to UPS specifically to have my package shipped through UPS and NOT USPS. This Store is a ripoff and misleads their customer into thinking that their package will be shipped through UPS. If i was informed that it would be mailed through USPS, i would have gone to USPS myself and mailed it. USPS is closer to my house but i chose to mail this package through UPS.

The owner informed me that he will be at lost if he refunded me my money he stated that he is in his business to make money. I guess by being dishonest to his customers and charging them for a service that he would not provide.
