This 'service' will send you an important looking form letter saying your subscription to a magazine is going to soon run out and you need to renew it NOW NOW NOW.
In my case, it was Car and Driver. I've been a subscriber for over 15 years and am paid up for the next 5. I renew directly thru C&D and my cost is $10 per year for 12 issues/year. National Publications cost? $66.00 per year!
This 'company' is obviously just some morons that got their hands on a database of magazine subscribers and then send out these notices hoping the dumb people of the world fall for it. Notice their email address is at yahoo.com. How many legit businesses use yahoo as their main email contact address?
My buddy responded and never got the additional year added to his subscription. He called the magazine directly and they told him they never heard of this organization.
