I bought a bulldog puppy from Happiness is Pets, Stonehedge Kennels, Steve Kruse. My dog is now 1 1/2 years old. She had inverted eyelashes, could be common in bulldogs, so I thought just my bad luck. After that surgery we found she had entropian (bulldogs that have this should not be bred) and had yet another surgery. Just returned today from an allergist, not sure yet what all her allergies are yet but he informed me that again, the dogs should not have been bred. I'm very upset about everything she has had to go through in her young life, if this pet store actually cared about animals instead of the almighty dollar the dogs (and owners) wouldn't have to suffer.
My dog has had surgery on both of her eyes twice, she may need a touch up on one eye, cannot be sure until her allergies are under control. Her eye surgeries and vet bills (allergies cause infections also) have amounted to over $5000... So far! If anyone reading this knows of how to stop the puppy mill Stonehedge Kennels please post something!
