I lived in the Stated of Michigan for 1 year then moved back home (where they do not have a Universal gas & Electric). I had an account with them; I must say I had to call them about 6 times to let them know that I was moving. I was told by customer service to send a letter stating when I was moving (date) and the new address. I sent by mail 3 letters to them, then I was told to call this number: 1-877-863-2444: then I was told to fax over my letter to this number: 1-866-673-1701. I did!
Now to get out here is what you do!
1.) You must write a letter stating that you are moving and give a 30 day notice with the new address. Must be another address that not able to supply Universal gas & Electric or another state that doesn't have Universal gas & Electric.
2). You must also fax them a copy of your driver licen. (Find one on line and edit it with your image and change the address) then fax it to them.
3). They need a bill with the new address. Here is what you do.
Get your car insurance card change the address by using Microsoft word
Print the new address on a sheet of paper then print it out.
Tape it to your car insurance card then make a copy of it.
4). Fax over your info to this number: 1-866-673-1701 with a cover letter and your contract number.
