I had the same experience with HomeandWine.com as the other complaints listed here. I ordered the products and paid for them with American Express on 11-17-08. I received an order confirmation from Homeandwine and PayPal.
When I hadn't received my order after two weeks I inquired with HomeandWine through email. I later received an email stating the order has been canceled and I should check with PayPal for a refund. PayPal agreed I was due a refund but they did not have funds available from Homeandwine to reimburse me.
I would be $102.81 poorer today if it had not been for American Express who reimbursed me for the cost of the product. Thanks American Express, it's good to know there are still reputable companies out there!
Homeandwine.com should be shut down! Period.
