Poor customer service fraudulent ripoff business

We purchased a ps2 with a 2 years warrenty back in 03. The 1st ps2 didn't work so we returned to the best but in west dundee. They gave a another one. This one lasted about 11 months. Then the ps2 would't play blue back disks. This started in Jan. I called best buy and they told us to bring it back to the store for a replacement.

But when we got to the store. We were informed that we could have to call a 800 number for a replacement voucher. I called the 800 customer service number and after about 2 weeks I received a return mailing label. (they covered the shipping cost). After calling for 2 to 3 weeks to see if they received the package. Still I was informed the the package was not received in.

The (this is the beginning of the BS.) customer service rep inform me that they receive thousands of this product so they were behind entering in the return products. At last I was informed the my product was received in Feb 14th. Great when do I get my Voucher. The customer service rep inform me that I should receive it on Feb 27th. Guess what! No voucher. I called again and this time the customer service rep told me that the previously CSR read the comments wrong and I would not get it until the 6th of March. She even lied to my Son (it's his system) who is in tears about getting his ps2 back. I guess I don't have to say it, But guess what, No Voucher!!!

We called Corporate office to get more information on the company's policies and what can be done about getting our voucher or a check. We waited the time span that the policiy stated, Plue more then that. The 1st Corporate Rep was so dump she didn't know anything about the policiy concerning voucher, she stated she would tranfer the call to someone who did, but just disconned my wife from the call. So we called back. Did get someone who sounded like she knew somethings about the Corp policies concerning vouchers but still had to call the same Customer Service number we did.

The Corporate Rep got back to us and stated that The CRS would wait until the 11th of March before tracking the voucher and the issue a new one which will take 15 business day. The Corporate lady would not be able to issue a Regural check.

We would had to wait for the voucher which is good for only Best Buy store.in short they lose something, I lost time, patience's and my sanity. I told the corporate lady that we would wait until the 11th of March (like a had a choice) and would call back to get my voucher, I know it will not be here on the 11th. I inform (corporate lady) That I was a good customer. We purchased a TV, sound system, ditial camera and the ps2.

The ditial camera was just purchased this year, and guess what I didn't buy the extended warranty. I informed the Corp lady about this and was supprise the I didn't buy the extended warranty. How dump are these people. I told my wife if the Ditial Camera breaks just throw it away. No way am I going thru this stress again about Buy Best's so called Extended Warranty. I will never buy anything from Best buy again!!!
