I went to Old Navy in Mesquite, TX 1/16 with the intent of making a purchase for myself. After spending approximately 30-45 minutes looking for what I wanted, I went to the cashier to pay however the prices did not come up as they werre marked in the store. When I questioned the incorrect pricing, the cashier asked the manager and he said he would check on it.
The manager went to the area where the items were and said I was looking at the wrong sign. When I pointed out to him where I got the items and the sign located directly by these items that clearely stated a sale price he said that was only for certain merchandise, not what I had chosen. He was not willing to honor the price they had displayed for the merchandise I had chosen.
I did not make a purchase and decided to contact Old Navy customer service via their website. The answer I got back was ridiculous.in an email, I was told that only certain merchandise is on sale. No attempt to rectify the situation or take care of the customer was made.
I have been in this same store in the past and have had the same experience with deceptive pricing.in fact, at least 75% of the time there has been a pricing issue where something was incorrectly marked or the pricing was unclear.
