I had the exact same situation happen to me. January 12th, my bank contacted me with the same information.
"Sorry Mr. Hayler, the ATM you used was in balance and you will not be getting a credit to your account."
I called GCA at the list phone number and asked to speak with the CFO George Gresham. He was not in but a polite woman, Cheryl, took my information and said he would call me. 15 minutes later another polite woman Cheri Sawasky called me back wanting to correct their error. She is taking steps to make that happen.
I suggest calling the company directly.
