I live in a small subdivision, 191 homes. The water compnay here is privatley owned. The tell me that the legelaterors are the ones who gave them the right to charge so much for water and sweage. But when your water bill is more than your light bill something is wrong. Now you can use 16 dollars worth of water, but they are going to charge you a flat fee of 47.50 for sewage. Now if you dont use that much water, and can they charge that much for sewage. I have lived here 17 years. At leaat 4 companys have owned it since i have been here.
All the pipe were layed wrong in the subdivision, but each company that has bought it, says it s the other companys fault. My sewage backed up in my home, over 6 thousands dollars worth of damage, but the water compnay then said it was because of the compnay who owned it before. My homeowners insurance would not pay for it because it was the water compnays fault.
We need some help here. We dont even drink the water because of the taste. We buy bottled water. You know it may sound like i complain alot on here. But it makes you feel alittle better just knowing there is somone out there to listen. Thank you.
