Stopped check q

In the spring of Tom Cappone of MTP called my company to provide an emergency service call to a church whose telephone system crashed. Emergency service was provided along with additional work the Church needed including new equipment. MTP paid the bill and then stopped payment on the check. I called Tom and told him I got the check returned. He asked that I fax him a copy which I did... A week later, Tom where is my replacement check, "that money left our account months ago". So I called the check processing company and explained that this check must have been stopped in error since Tom claims the money was taken out of his account. No, sorry the check was stopped and I can't tell you any more.

Call Tom again AFTER calling the customer and confirming they were happy with our work and had paid. Tom threatens to sue me for contacting the Church since I "damaged" their reputation. Total diversion rather then simply paying me for work performed WHICH THEY MARKED UP CONSIDERABLY and were paid by the customer.

Stay far away...

I am waiting for my Docket number for a small claims case against this guy and his, IMHO BOGUS company.
