Here's the first of a 3 part expose on circuit city top brass. I worked in the exec office in richmond with many of these folks.
Let's start with ann-marie austin-stephens, or 'little orphan annie' as we used to call her behind her back.
Basically, to cut thru it all, she slept her way to the top. Michael Chalifoux, the CFO, used to work together at a previous company - not sure of the name - NOTE - he has NO resume on the circuit city website because people would realize two top execs both worked at this small company together. They left his resume off because while there he and little orphan Annie had the quite the affair.
So surprise suprise, a few months after he gets hired who does he bring over to work at our fair company... His old mistress. How nice.
Ann-Marie Austin-Stephens
Senior Vice President, Store Innovation and Development
Ms. Austin-Stephens joined the Company in 1999 as vice president of Strategic Planning. She was elected senior vice president in 2000. Before joining the Company, she had served as the director of technology and brand marketing for The Frito-Lay Company and had held various marketing positions at The Proctor and Gamble Company.
This is part 1 of 3... More to come
