When I requested a refund from Chuck Hall, this was his response:
"1) You do not need to know ANYTHING about real estate that is not fully covered in the program 2) Any additional info you may require for a speciofic deal - that is what your mentor is for (the one you did not use) 3) There can be no refund as you did not comply with or meet the conditions of the guarantee 4) There is no "account" to cancel. Apparently, you chose to try to use the program without benefit of using your assigned mentor. If you are not going to use the tools provided, please do not try to blame us for your failure."
I then wrote back to his email saying that I in fact had contacted my "mentor" on a number of occasions and that I did not find the help useful or thorough. I also told him that I spoke with a few real estate attorneys and professionals and they did not think the program "held water, " so to speak. The website fails to mention a lot.
Chuck then proceeded to email me back: "Look, you can talk to whoever you wish, and believe whatever you want, but the facts are as follows: 1) Our "newbie" students use these methods daily, with success, and we have the letters to prove it 2) If real estate attorneys or Brokers knew how to invest, they would not be working for peanuts as attorneys or brokers - they would be investors. They can believe as they wish, and fill you with any BS you are willing to accept. But
their "beliefs" do not necessarily make them right.
I cannot comment on applications of law because I am not a lawyer. And they should not comment on applications of investing if they are not professional investors. I have even heard so-called "knowledgeable" attorneys claim that double escrows are illegal, but they are not. And I have had realtors tell me I "can't do that", and then I went ahead and did it, successfully. Again - they simply are not educated in investing.
So, listen to them at your own peril. Perhaps THAT is why you failed - you let uneducated (in investing) clowns talk you out of it. 3) There are no "automated" email mentors - each email is responded to by an actual, practicing investor. If your responses were general, it would be because your questions were general. Not even a pro can give a detailed response if you do not provide adequate info to work with. This is no "scam", and as I said, we have over 6,000 letters from successful clients to prove it. Do not blame our program for your lack of effort. Now - ONE MORE TIME - No Refunds except in accordance with the terms and conditions. Period. This is because, as clearly stated in those terms, the materials are downloaded, and there is no way we can remove it from someone's computer. Also, if you do not do your part, then you simply cannot blame the program."
Chuck Hall's extreme unprofessionalism and hostility is clearly a reflection of how things work over there at "Itellibiz."
