Today on December 17
I have just had the worst experience ever in my life when it should have been a Joyous Moment.
I went to the Dog Shelter shortly after 1:45PM along with my cousin, we walked around and looked at the animals and I must say they were very sad looking. I was happy to be adopting a dog, I was aware that it would cost $150.00 or at least that's what the Shelter said, and I don't have a problem with the money at all. I filled out the application and so did my cousin, she was told that she couldn't even walk a dog, I was told that the application was approved and what dogs did I want to see, I saw two animals, and then the lady who was helping me said 'I have to do something else, go to that other employee of the dog shelter and tell her which other dogs you want to see, I walked up to the lady and told her that her other employee said two let me see my other choices then I seen the lady shift into "evil" she first started with the excuse of " Did you fill out an application" I told her yes I did, then she started with other questions concerning my application although I was approved, " then she said who told you to tell me to show you dogs, as if I was lying, then I told her Once Again her other employee, then she asked me what the numbers were of the dogs that I wanted to see, when I told her, she said "You Do not have Husky Training and walked away" there I stood around for even longer while she ignored me and rushed to act as though she was "Working" then she later started helping other people as if I wasn't standing there at all, I would like to believe that she was "Evil" and not "PREJUDICE" BUT I CAN VERY EASILY RECOGNIZE THIS FEELING BECAUSE I HAVE FELT IT BEFORE"!
I know a lie when I see one, I know Lazy when I see it, I know Rude when I see it, and Foul When I Smell IT.
The most upsetting thing of all is, hurting an animal! Who she didn't hesitate to let me know that they kill 30 animals a day,
This Employee would do everything in her Power to Make Sure that this Animal Would Die than to let a Black Woman Adopt IT? Because of this Employee This Dog WOULD NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO HAVE ITS FATE CHANGED, WHAT IS GOING ON THE BUSINESS OF KILLING IS PREVENTION IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE THAT A YOUNG BLACK WOMAN WON'T GET A DOG TO LOVE AND PROVIDE A NICE HOME?
First impressions are everything and this one was very bad.
I looked on the internet and i am not the only one who thinks franklin county shelter stinks and its not the dogs it is the employees
the word is spreading fast!
