We are writing to complain about being slammed. The slamming company's name is GLOBAL CROSSING. Never heard of it before, never contacted us.
We have chosen out carrier to be AT&T - been happy so far FOR 2 YEARS. The last billing statement as of Nov 27 shows an unexplained charge of $1.64 for changing the long distance service and $1.61 for changing the local toll service. I called AT&T today and they removed the charges, but they did show a so-called request to change to another company without showing which company! So the AT&T rep asked us if we still want to stay with AT&T!!!
This is unbelievable.
We found out that we are with Global Crossing, to our surprise, by dialing 700-555-4141. To our surprise, we are still with them - case was not yet resolved. IT IS A NIGHTMARE.
After which we have tried to get a hold of this INTERNATIONAL (?) company, but their customer service line is currently unavailable.
