I received a letter marked Registered that seemingly indicates I would win $12,000. The wording is not clear and can easily be misinterpreted to say I've won. But it is really saying 'Cash Eligibility'. A $5.00 fee is demanded and urgent to be sent to a P O Box. There is a Void after date and a statement that is underlined and in bold regarding the fee that states, 'No exceptions permitted', to make the receiver think there is little time to collect or the $12,000 is forfited. This is a SCAM! I see there are a few others who have reported on usacomplaints.com and I thought I had better do it too so that the possibly hundreds or thousands of others might know that this scam is not state specific.
Do not respond to Sweepstakes Audit Bureau if you receive this letter, it is a scam. Do not send any money to any Sweepstakes offer; if you've won a contest of any kind they pay you, you do not pay them! Beware!!
