I am a customer of Embark phone service (land line.) When I opened my monthly statement this week I found a third party billing from ESBI for Transcendent Corp.
I called Embark about this charge and they told me to call ESBI and they told me to call Transcendent Corp. The first party I spoke to (Jim) hung up on me. I called again and tried to find out what this charge was for. Genine told me it was for my monthly Internet service of $14.95 per month.
Embark did put a block on my line not to use third party billing on my phone and they did remove the $14.95 from my bill.
I have had Comcast for Internet service for over 5 years and I am satisfied with Comcast.
I have NEVER requested this company to service my Internet. I don't even know who they are. Genine said I signed up with them online. This is an outright lie. I am sure this is some kind of scam on senior citizens. I guess some people don't check their bills and they just pay them.
Please look into this company.
