We built a new home and purchased an expensive Thermador Gas Cooktop and had it installed.in less than a year the enamel on the cooktop had cracked. Thermador replaced the cooktop and in less than a year it cracked again. They replaced it and again it cracked. They then adopted the position that the cracks were "cosmetic" and refused to replace it. The cracks are large and are RUSTING. They are not "cosmetic" and they have refused to honor their warranty. Beware of thermador appliances. They are a ripoff. Would you want a brand new stove top in a brand new home that is all cracked and rusting??? Don't buy thermador appliances.
