We paid to repair the same feature (the igniting feature on the burner-the stove works, but the burner often clicks on and off repeatedly) on this 4 yr. Old professional stove 3 times. I have been contacting Thermador since early Spring of this year with the repair slips, asking for some resolution of this repeated problem and each time I get a new person who assures me they will be responsive immediately, will return my call with the status of the resolution, etc.
I've faxed, emailed, etc. This report to the Thermador / BSH Customer Service office 4 times now and still get brushed off. The worst part about it is that each time I try them again, they tell me they can't find the paperwork from the last call. I've never dealt with a company so irresponsible before. I will NEVER buy Thermador again. This is all on top of the fact that when we first got the stove, the controls caught fire and the stove blew up. The supplier did get us a new stove then, but the old one was completely fried. We were lucky no one was hurt.
