T.V. Ad said $99.99 per month for 2 years plus a free 19" LCD T.V. To sign up for FIOS TV, internet and phone.
First they gave me the run around about changing the the billing name to my name because my husband died. I did all they asked including driving to a special store, was on the phone for 40 minutes at the store confirming everything and the bill still comes in his name. This delayed installation.
I get my first bill and it way over stated price. I call they tell me there are extra charges on first bill because the free installation was only if I already had cable. This they did not mention before. I told them even with that it does not look right. They said it should be right the next bill. It was not.
I called three times more and was told they would call back. They did not. Finally I got a man who seemed helpful and he said he doesn, t know why they are over charging me. He ask if I got the coupon fot the T.V. Yet. I did not this was 2 months later. He tried to fix the problem and said it should be fine now.
3Rd month bill still wrong. I called was told for some reason they hadn't bundled the package so I was over paying because it was'nt bundled. 4th month I called again. She was rude, said they forgot to charge me for 2 boxes, for 2months, so they added that on. That should have been $20 they added $40 and still no T.V. No credit for over paying and she tells me I don't get the T.V. Because I only signed up for 1 YR. Not true. They never offered one yr.
She said she would file a report about my complaint. That there was no one else to talk to. Plus I sent a letter myself. No one has bothered to answer me. This all started in Dec. 2007. Its now Nov. 2008 I told them the only good thing is I won't be stuck for 2 yrs. Unless they try to pull a fAST ONE AGAIN.
