After using this company in 2006 I figured it was safe so in October I placed another order for 3 pair of boots hoping to receive them by Christmas (of that same year!). I received my credit card statement only a couple of weeks later only to find the full amount charged to my account, but when I called to inquire about my order I was told the boots were all out of stock. I let them know I couldn't understand why they would charge the order when they couldn't even fulfill it and they assured me I would be receiving it within the following month. When I hadn't received them by January I called and cancelled the order and was told that the refund would post to my account within the next 30 days. That never happened so I continued to call remaining on hold for more than an hour each time, and emailing which often times got no response. Finally on May 16 I spoke to Customer service rep who told me that I would receive a "CHECK IN THE MAIL" within the next two weeks for the full amount of the charge. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??!!?? Yeah, me either. Guess what? I never got it. Surprise, surprise! I gave them plenty of time, gave them the benefit of the doubt... Obviously too much time because the next time I tried to call the phone was disconnected and the website had a message saying they were closed down. I have to say I guess I've been very lucky because I do a lot of E-commerce and have never been hurt before but I feel like I've been hurt royally this time by "Lord John" to the tune of $244.15 that I could really use about now!!!
