I received a gift card to ackelegance.com and the print catalogs with it, but threw out the catalogs and went online instead to check their stuff.
The gift card was for 10 bucks and their offerings really weren't my cup of tea, so I picked out an umbrella that was listed at 20 $ (!) of which I would actually only be paying half, sounded like a good deal to me.
I paid for it with paypal. Shoulda known, the first sign was that ackelegance is unverified. Huh.
But I didn't pay attention, and here we are.
The phone number provided is either not for that company anymore, or the people that answer are fibbing. Another # that appears to be a cell-phone didn't call me back. I have sent many many emails, and a request for money on Paypal (this doesn't qualify in their resolution department!?).
Nothing.
What are my options?
Knock on the door of the address provided on Paypal?
Talk to the police?
It's only ten bucks, but still!
