I applied for membership in SMC in Nov. Of 2007. After trying to cancel membership in mid 2008 membership fees and website charges continued being charged to my credit card until November. On the membership renewal date my credit card was charged another membership yearly fee of $49.95 and monthly $29.95 website charge. Once they get your credit card number they will continue to ding your credit card & STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They are crooks!!!
