As a recently "FIRED" Sales Associate of Sears, I felt I had to say something. Sears has a Corporate Philosophy that encompasses 7 steps resulting in creating "Customers for Life".in reality, they care nothing about their customers or their employees or creating "Customers for Life". Their ONLY concern is in selling the consumer an extended warranty they call "Protection Argreements".
It is not important that an Associate sell alot of product or has a great customer service attitude, it is only important that they sell "Protection Agreements". This is where Sears makes their money. I can understand Corporate Goals, but in today's society with educated consumers and everything negative that is written about extended warranties, Sears should look further than immediate profit.
They have an execellent pryamid of goals. If only they would follow them, they would have "Customers for Life". Profits would gwow and continue into the uncertain retail future. Sears is a Dinosour and we all know what happened to the Dinosour. Dey Ain't here no more. Duh...
