Today was my first experience with this company and I can't wait until my contract year is over (10 more months).
My central airconditioning unit began malfunctioning recently, not cooling the house well. I contacted Nationwide and they said they would contact a contractor who would then get back to me. Well this took me two times calling Nationwide to finally get someone out.
Then during the inspection it was noted that I would need a new coil, approx. 1800.00 was the estimate. Well when Nationwide was informed about this they immediately denied the claim stating that my unit was too old and had rust and corrosion on it.
Nationwide also during the phone conversation was telling the contractor to charge me a 60.00 fee for my deductible. This is supposed to only be 50.00 according to my written contract.
I believe this company is just a bunch of thieves. I wish I would have seen this site before I purchased this plan. If you agree with me re' this company tell 10 people, let the word spread!!
