The 09/02 these people took from my account $1358.00 for an internet service I never used and besides the fact that I closed the account on may. I got short paying my credit cards, my car loan and I have to delay some checks. I have to take care of all of this by myself and borrow 600 dollars to a friend and on top of all I have to pay 20 dollars on overdraft protection. I was lucky I didn't get short paying my mortgage or I could lost my house too. I called and I just got an I am sorry from AT&T that it was obviously a mistake. How can this people get away with this, I will never trust direct payments ever again and also be aware of this insensitive people and faceless companies that can destroy all your life with one click and they don't care because they know they can get away with it and they won't get punish for it. They understand the bureaucracy and they just try to stole from people like me and fix it with an: I'm sorry. Please don't use direct payments anymore specially with this cellphone company. This is also pretty disappointing because there cellphone service is good.
