They intemadate you and mistreat you to tears! Lying and calling you at work

To make a long story short: (well kind of short:)

Last year, I stop paying a bank of america credit card because I was scammed by a mystery shop company, and I deposited a bad check (thank you God because I learned a lot from this experience, and I am not mad or resentful anymore). So, I put the cash amount on my Bank of America credit card to cover for the overdraft. Then I called them, and told them if they could please put my APR as a regular purchase instead of a cash advance, and they refused. So, I had to do something otherwise, I would have never have been able to pay off the entire balance... I stopped paying the credit card, and the sent me to Frederick J. Hanna & Associates P.C. To collect.

These people are ruthless, they don't care if you tell them no to call to work or leave messages with other people, they actually left a message with my elderly American Mom (73yrs old) and this scared her a lot for me, and I had to come her down and explain to her the situation. Anyway, I ended up setting a payment plan with them of $200 plus they charge me $5 processing fee every month even though is a direct bank draft. This started in 10. I have been making payments to them since faithfully every month, I have not being late at all not even once... Then today a got a call from them at work, which I have told them so many times and by mail to stop doing, and listen to what they told me: this lady named Mindy or Mandy a guy named Joe.

Your payment plan arrangement is up, and you have to pay up or start paying $442 per month! And give us like 2K so we can start with your payment plan again. I was I'm sorry (and seriously, I didn't get upset or anything just talked with a normal tone of voice), but I can keep paying you my $205 per month, I do want to pay bank of america the entire amount owed, but I just can continue paying $205 per month. The lady, Mandy, got really upset, she run my credit report right away with me on the phone and told me that she sees that I have a loan with Citifinancial, and why I don't just to Citifinancial and get a loan to pay them? I was like they don't give me more than $500 in loan, and like I said why don't just let me pay the $205 per month? She got very very upset (imagine the collections lady was upset, and I was come), and transfered me to this guy named Joe.

He pretty much told me that I had to pay up or my account will be written off and they were going to tell Bank of America that I refused to pay, and write it off to my credit report. I said ok, there is nothing I can do, I will just set up a payment plan with them, and pay them $205 per month... He got furious, and told me NO we are going to tell bank of america that you refuse to pay, we are going to write off your account, and he hung up on me

HERE IS WHAT I have done so far... And if anyone can give me any other direction, it will be much appreciate it.

1. I sent Frederick J. Hanna & Associates a Fax and a certified letter discribing exactly what just had happened.

2. I file a complained with the FTC, and the Georgia Better Business Bureau.

3. I sent a copy of that paper work, and a cover letter to: The Virginia (which is my state) district attorney general's office, the Georgia general district attorney, and the State bar of georgia.

Thank you reading and taking the time to see my complaint, I am not against paying what I owe, but I am not agreeging with being verbaly assaulted every time they call me specially at work, and of course how can they refuse my $205 per month if that's all I can afford right now?

Thank you
