Ripoff deceptive company ilegal business practice, breach of contract, theft damaged furniture

The company failed to meet its commitments to me incliding the agreed-upon deadline for delivery. Not only was my furniture not delivered on the agreed upon time table, it was three weeks late. American Eagle VAn Lines was chosen not because of the price (there were lower bids), but because American Eagle Van Lines promised delivery within three to four days. On a day of signing the contract, I was given the drver's cell phone to coordinate the pick-up, the driver for American Eagle Van Lines stated they had a truck in Memphis that was on its way back to Florida.

The driver confirmed that the delivery would be made in three-four days.in discussions with the driver, I pointed out that there were some expensive and fragile items, and asked him to be particularly careful with the mentioned items. The driver confirmed that the items would be delivered safely, and also stated that he repacked some of the fragile items himself.

He also stated that the weight was exact as the quote.
After pick up, the truck was diverted to North Carolina, Boston, Chicago, back to Boston, and back to Memphis, among other places.in conversation with a person named Matt at American Eagle Headquarters I was promised that money I had to spend on hotel accommodations would be taken off the bill.

The company also failed to deliver all of my furniture. Here is the list of the furniture that was acknowledged to be in the care of American Eagle Van Lines by the many conversations I had with the companys driver named SHY, but never delivered:

Over-stuffed chair (just delivered cushion).
Boxes marked fragile with lamps and fixtures, that were once again confirmed to be on truck and placed at the top so that they would not be damaged.
Dishes that were said to be repackaged by driver to protect never were delivered
Large Bedroom Mirror
Many boxes of valuable personal items (the items discuused with the driver)

Also, furniture that was delivered was badly damaged.
Dining room table leg broken as it was moved into my new apartment.
Dresser draws broken, scratched, and gouged.

Prior to delevery I was advised that this compny had many complaints on the RIP OFF REPORT and that deceptive business practice is the norm for this company and that my experience with it has been shared by many others. It came to my attention that the company was under investigtion by the FBI who I made contact with prior to the delevery. As is the norm they called the day of delevery and tried to increase the original quote to a number 4 times the contracted price. The FBI had to intervene on my behalf to stop the fraudulent and illegal billing practices performed by American Eagle Van Lines.

My attempts to work with American Eagle to recover my property have been answered with threats and abusive language.

I am currently in litigation with this company, and would like as many affidavits as possible to prove that above described is their normal business practice.
