Where do I begin... I bought a Bose Surround System back in 2003 I also bought the service warranty. I spent well over 10,000 that day because I also bought a television. Well the base started to sound a little off recently and I decieded to take it into service June 22. I took in my Base with the cord to connect it, Five Speakers, and the DVD System. I recieved a reciept for the repairs stating I had dropped off seven pieces and the deiscription stated: "BASE DISTORTED. SOUND GOES OUT AND SYSTEM HAS TO BE TURNED ON AND OFF TO COME BACK ON."

Now I waited about a month before making my first call and mind you I have not once heard from anyone from Conn's to update me on the status of my repair till now. I spoke to the service department and they stated it was still bieng repaired. The second time I called a week later and they stated one of the parts was faulty and would have to be repaired and they had to order it.By then I was calling every week and sometimes I would speak to someone the other times I would leave a message that would never be returned. About two months into this they stated the part was no longer available they would call us back after they did thier paperwork to get this product replaced. I called again a week later and stated the part did come in and are in the process of repairing.

Then after two and a half months I decieded to go into the store and complain On Spetember 3. To my surprise they stated it had come in from repairs and was ready for pick up. When the system was put in front of me for check out the only parts there were the Base and the cord, and five speakers. I asked what happened with the system and they stated I never brought it in. The employees became very defensive and stated I had to take it up with the service department so I left all the items there and called the service department no answer. I asked to speak with a Manager and spoke with Edgar Otega he stated he would email the service department and said to call on Friday he would have an answer.

So on September 5th I called he stated he hadn't heard back from the service department but he recieved and email stating they are looking for it and to call back on Saturday. So Saturday I called and went into the store different manager (Mike Padilla) He got on the phone with the service department for about an hour and a half no answer. I got on the phone with customer service (409) 832-1696 and spoke to Leslie a "manager" they stated to get a hold of the service department. I called her back and let her know we had been trying with no luck so she got on the phone and stated we would get on three way and put me on hold for 30 mins. She ended up transfering me to the service department and left the line. The woman I spoke to stated they didn't have my dvd player to take it up with the store. I asked to speak to her manager and she stated he told her to say all he wanted to say and he didn't want to speak with me so she hung up the phone. The store manager did not help he stated it was a service department issue and they had nothing to do with it. I asked to speak to someone higher that him he referred me to the "general manager" She stated the same there was nothing they could do.

I will NEVER EVER buy from Conn's again they are the most crooked company you will ever deal with I spent good money and always paid on time. I'm still in the works of getting MY property back and am going to have to resort to legal action. Jancee Sanchez referred me to Jason Olivo (361) 834-0148 as the district manager who has proved to be a little help and his employees. He is very quick to get you off the phone and has not resolved my problem and stated it is Conn's who "messed" up and he will get my stuff back to me and I'm going on month three soon still waiting for my stuff. He doesn't return calls either. *buyer beware*
