Sprint PCS continues to defame myself and others nationwide by falsely reporting debts "owed" to Sprint by others using falsely supplied and verified SSNs to activate service with Sprint! Sometimes I wonder if "Sprint's" employees make up these numbers to activate service for any applicant they can't understand on the other end of the phone!
Not only does Sprint fail to verify identities with simple identifying information, but will change the current identifying information of an individual in a credit report to fit data supplied on the fraudulent account such as change of address, DOB's etc when turning the account over for collection to its collection agencies.
After repeated calls to the "Sprint Fraud Line" (888 788 0788) which is apparently the ONLY place you can speak to A LIVE PERSON still no action has been taken by Sprint to submit a retraction of the address change THEY placed in my credit report (which, by the way, is an INVALID address confirmed when I called the town clerk at "my new address" listed in my credit report) although
I received a fax of a letter from Sprint confirming "Fraud", why am I required to have to explain to all companies I apply for credit with why I never lived at that non-existant street to begin with? When I get hired at a company requiring a background check and
I fail to list that address, why do I risk not even being called back for an interview due to Sprint's GROSS NEGLIGENCE in failing to verify the address with what WAS my address when they granted service to whoever it was applied in my SSN? Why did it take me a 2 minute phone call (you better believe it wasn't with a Sprint cell phone) for me to verify that address Sprint has me living at doesn't exist yet it has taken Sprint well over a year to correct this?
Try getting your own copy of your credit report with any of the three agencies without verifying the current address listed as being yours... And Sprint couldn't give a crap in repairing the damage.
Sprint continues this practice and falsely reports (Wire Fraud or Mail Fraud) debts owed to them EVEN AFTER sending a Fax admitting to their error and won't correct their mistakes with the credit bureaus.
Aren't their ANY lawyers out there willing to file a criminal action for FRAUD, RICO, Consumer Defamation, etc., or a Class Action Suit against Sprint?
Their Customer "Service" is absolutely THE WORST even for those who were NEVER CUSTOMERS to begin with!!!
Don't ever deal with sprint!
If you never have, better check your credit report to be "sure" you never have.
