If it's your first time with Maid to Perfection, they insist you pay upfront for a minimum of 3 hours, something like $225 for the first cleaning. NOW I understand why they do. My biggest mistake was leaving them the money before I got home from work to inspect it.
Everything looked wiped down and rearranged. At first glance it looked good. Then I started to notice the floors weren't mopped. Vaccuumed, but not mopped. The bathrooms weren't spotless. As i looked behind objects I noticed nothing was moved so that they could thoroughly clean. They cleaned AROUND everything! I asked about this and I was told for insurance reasons they aren't allowed to move ANYTHING. I was also told that they "tried" to get the bathrooms spotless. Funny how the next company I hired was able to get them spotless. It was annoying that everything I brought to their attention, the response was that the maids they sent "said they cleaned that".
We are an average house and they wanted about $90/week. I shopped around and they were the best quote hands down. Yes, you get what you pay for. It blows my mind they don't think more about the big picture to keep me as a long term client every week and make sure that first cleaning is spectacular. They offered to come back and mop, but I declined. If they give me excuses when I pay them a couple hundred bucks, how are they going to respond when i have a problem and I'm only paying $90.
The crew they sent out weren't very impressive either. An apathetic attitude with no eye contact they just come into the house and start cleaning. I try to have a conversation with them and they keep referring to their instruction sheet given by Maid to Perfection sales person..."well, our instructions don't say anything about that..." Yeah, we'll I"M TELLING YOU ABOUT THAT (me thinking). They couldn't care less to engage me and handle me correctly. They were not your typical hardworking hispanic crew. They were a couple of middle aged apathetic black americans.
